Terms of use
What you can expect from GAPI, and what we expect from you. Plain language, and nothing here that the service does not actually do.

The service
GAPI turns a link to a public post on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, VK, Threads, X, Reddit or Pinterest into direct links to its media, through an API and a Telegram bot. We do not host the media. The links we return point at the platform's own servers, or at our own domain for a short time when a file has to pass through us.
Your account and keys
You get API keys in your dashboard or in the bot. Keep them secret: every call made with a key is charged to your account. We may disable a key that is used against these terms.
Acceptable use
Download only content you have the right to use. You are responsible for respecting copyright and the rules of each platform. Do not use the service for anything unlawful, do not try to get around its limits, and do not resell access to your keys.
Plans, tokens and limits
Each plan gives a monthly balance of tokens shared by every platform: one token per call, eight for a YouTube download. Balances reset on the first day of each month, UTC, and unused tokens do not carry over. Limits are hard: once the balance or the per-second rate is used up, calls are refused, never billed as overage. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Payments and refunds
Plans are paid in Telegram Stars in our bot, one month at a time. The month starts when the payment is credited, and paying before it ends adds to the time you have left. If a payment went wrong, write to support in the bot: Stars are refunded through Telegram, and the time that payment bought is taken off the plan. Plans bought on RapidAPI are billed by RapidAPI under its own terms.
Availability
We run the service on a best-effort basis and cannot promise it will always be available. A call that fails on our side gives its tokens back automatically. A call for a post that does not exist or is private is charged, because the lookup was still made.
What we keep
We keep what the service needs to run: your email address or Telegram account and your name, your API keys (as a hash, plus an encrypted copy so you can view them again), a record of each call (platform, result, time taken, tokens) and your payments. We do not keep the media, and we do not keep the links you ask about. For calls through RapidAPI we keep a keyed hash of the buyer's username rather than the username itself.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the month before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the service after a change means you accept it.
